Soft pastries made naturally

Nuova Ruggeri was established in Cremona in 1963 as an artisan laboratory, skilfully transferring the Ruggeri family’s experience in the bread-making sector to the production of unmistakeable sweet pastry products. The turning point came with the company’s innovative choice to use natural yeast in its production of delicious brioches, croissants and sweet buns. Thanks to the success enjoyed and its progressive expansion, the firm now has a large, modern industrial plant.

The new premises were inaugurated in November 1993. Covering around 10,000 square metres and equipped with hi-tech machinery, in just a few years it has projected Nuova Ruggeri onto the national and European market.

During the last decade, the company has grown, extending its distribution to the entire Italian market, also thanks to a sales network that spans the whole of Italy. Among its other important goals, it has set its sights on the foreign market.
Today it is a leader in the sector of naturally leavened pastry products, and is present on the market with two brands: NUOVA RUGGERI and LA CROISSANTERIA. The high production quality has also convinced the main distribution chains and large companies to entrust Nuova Ruggeri with their own private labels.

All the machinery, from the raw material dosage system to the packing unit are hi-tech and completely automated. Thanks to the avant-garde production lines, the firm has a production capacity of over 15,000 kg/day of finished products. The great passion for this work, excellent quality of the products, quick delivery times, flexibility, reliability and courtesy of all the staff are factors that make our company an established name in the industry.
